Man for Others, Woman for Others
During the Spring semester of the 2013-2014 school year, a new program will be developed and implemented! Man for Others, Woman for Others is a program inspired by the Big Brothers Big Sisters mentor organization. We don't have all the details figured out just yet, but we are hoping to pair each CMU Outdoor Opportunities student up with a Mt. Pleasant area school student. Through this mentor relationship, we hope to not only learn about life skills and lessons such as independence, self-respect, forming positive relationships, the impact of social pressures, and the value of serving others, but also put them into action!
